Help with Fullwear

Fullwear is made by one person, so support is a real inbox rather than a ticket system. Describe the problem and you will get a proper answer.

What to include so it can be answered

A one-line description plus these four details is usually enough to solve a problem in the first reply:

  • The Fullwear version you are running.
  • Your iPhone model — for example iPhone 14 Pro.
  • Your iOS version — Settings → General → About → Software Version.
  • What happened — what you tapped, what you expected, and what the app did instead. A screenshot helps a lot.

For anything about a purchase, say which plan you bought (monthly or yearly) and roughly when. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or Apple Account credentials — they are never needed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Fullwear works fully without one: you can add unlimited garments, get your daily outfit, and tag clothes with no sign-in at all. An account is only needed for Fullwear Pro and for syncing a backup between devices.

Where are my photos stored?

On your phone, in Fullwear's private app storage — a local database that other apps cannot read. If you sign in, your closet is also backed up to your account so you can move to a new phone; that is what the account is for. Without an account nothing leaves the device. Details are in the privacy policy.

Why does Fullwear want my location?

For the weather, so an outfit suits the actual temperature instead of an average. Fullwear requests approximate location only and sends those coordinates to Open-Meteo to get the forecast; your location is also used to pick the app's default language. It is optional — if you decline, the app falls back to a default temperature and everything else keeps working.

Why is the first garment photo slow, and what is the large download?

Because the AI that recognises your clothes runs on your phone rather than on a server, it has to be downloaded first — roughly 1.5 GB, once. Do it on Wi-Fi. After that, tagging works offline and nothing about your photos is sent anywhere.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Sign in to the new phone with the same Apple Account you bought Pro with. That is what matters — the purchase belongs to the Apple Account, not to the phone. Then open Fullwear, go to Profile → Manage subscription, and choose to restore your purchases. If Pro still does not appear, email support@fullwear.app.

How do I cancel Fullwear Pro?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel through Apple: open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions (or Settings → your name → Subscriptions) and turn off auto-renew. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription, and neither does deleting your Fullwear account. The cancellation has to happen in Apple's subscription settings.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer, because Apple processes the payment. Request one at reportproblem.apple.com. If the reason is a bug, write to support as well so it gets fixed.

How do I delete my account and my data?

In the app: Profile tab → delete account, then confirm twice. That removes the account, its email address and the uploaded backup. The full description, including the email route, is on the delete your account page.

The outfit suggestions feel wrong. What can I do?

Two things, and the app learns from both. First, skip the outfit and give a reason — that feedback feeds into the next recommendation. Second, set style rules for the combinations you never want, so they stop coming back.

Recommendations also get better with more of your wardrobe in the app, because there are simply more combinations to choose from.

Which languages does Fullwear support?

English and German. The default is chosen from your location when you first open the app.

Does it work offline?

Mostly, yes. Outfit recommendations and on-device garment tagging both work without a connection, once the AI model has been downloaded. Two things need the internet: AI trip packing, which runs on a server, and the weather forecast.

What does Fullwear Pro include?

AI trip packing (fair-use cap of 50 plans per month), inspiration → closet matching, and unlimited outfit regeneration — the whole look or a single piece. It costs CHF 4.90 per month or CHF 39 per year and renews automatically until you turn auto-renew off. See the subscription terms.

Does Fullwear track me or show ads?

No. There is no analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK in the app, and no data is sold or shared with data brokers.
